Civida is seeking the services of a market research firm to conduct tenant satisfaction surveys, biennially, to inform the organization's strategic and operations decision-making.

The surveys will include questions on customer service, communication preferences, safety maintenance and repairs, and key demographic information. Civida will provide survey questions as a starting reference point. The sample size for the survey is approximately 500 households, with desired statistical significance for at least 95 per cent. The survey will be conducted by phone only, with no online option. 

The key deliverables include:

a. A telephone survey conducted with a representative sample of Civida tenants, in both the Community Housing and Affordable Housing portfolios. 

b. Survey ideally offered in English, with translation capabilities in French, Urdu, Somali, and Arabic.

c. A final report with a full analysis of the data.

d. The cross-reference data, including demographics and geographic location.

Civida anticipates the timeline for the deliverables for the 2026 survey to be as follows; however, these timelines are subject to change at Civida's sole discretion.

• June 15 - July 6: Design and finalize questions with consulting firm and Civida leadership input
• July 7 - July 31: Firm conducts survey
• August 1 - August 14: Firm prepares final report
• September 10: Firm delivers final report to Senior Leadership Team
